Zero hours contracts – exclusivity clauses to be banned

Following government consultation Business Secretary Vince Cable has announced plans to ban exclusivity clauses in zero hours contracts. The aim is to protect individuals who work under a zero hours contract and need to top up their earnings elsewhere.
