The application for a costs award made by ebl miller rosenfalck on behalf of Logistika Peklaj against the UK Border agency was granted by Judge Timothy Herrington at a recent hearing which took place before the First Tier Tax Tribunal in London.

Judge Timothy Herrington has now assessed the costs that are payable by the Director of Border and Revenue as a result of the UK Border agency’s decision to continue to defend proceedings brought by Logistika Peklaj for the return of its vehicle which had been confiscated by Customs.

The Schedule of Costs submitted by ebl miller rosenfalck for payment by the UK Border Agency was found to be reasonable and were allowed in full. The Judge also directed payment of the Slovakian Director’s travel expenses and hotel accommodation for attending the Hearing.
